Career Talk Blog | Celebrating Military Moms
Each May we celebrate military moms!
The Major Group wants to thank all military moms, including military spouses, those serving with children, and mothers of our service members. The military community is very supportive of having children and raising a family, but that doesn’t mean it is easy. Balancing work, children, sports, school and this lifestyle is challenging both physically and emotionally. Thank you moms for all you do for your families and this community!
Military children learn at a young age how tough goodbyes are.
They may have a parent leaving for deployment, field training exercises, or even weekend duty. They create friendships at school and in the neighborhood that they have to leave behind when it comes time to PCS. Moms create a sense of security and home for their children no matter what situation the family is in, and because of you, your children grow up with be strong individuals!
Moms who are in the military are special people and deserve recognition.
Serving your country and having children is something not everyone can relate to. Your dedication to your country, family, and community are admirable.
Military spouse moms are put into situations that can be uncomfortable, but always manage to make their children feel at home.
Planning birthday parties without family, getting the kids enrolled in school in the middle of the school year, finding trustworthy babysitters at your new duty station and spending holidays alone all while keeping the children happy are not easy tasks.
We can’t forget about the mothers of our service members either.
Saying goodbye to your son or daughter when they are shipped off to basic training is hard. Mothers worry about the safety of their children every single day. Your support of your child in the military is crucial to their success, and we can’t say thank you enough!
Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms in our community!
The Major Group is thankful for your support to the military community and dedication to your family, and are honored to help military spouse moms get enrolled in school to better the future for their families every day. We employ military spouses while they stay at home with their children. Moms deserve all of the support and recognition they can get for all of their hard work!
