What sets The Major Group apart is our passion for helping military spouses.
We’ll assist you throughout your entire certification process; beginning with helping you choose a program through completion of your clinical externship. We are always seeking new ways to help aid military spouses, and we are very excited to share a new partnership to provide another level of assistance for our students.
The Major Group and USACares.org are pleased to announce a childcare grant to help military families financially bridge the gap between the first day of work and the first paycheck.
The grant will help offset the childcare costs often incurred before the first paycheck arrives. Once you start your new job, you’ll have peace of mind knowing your childcare costs are covered for the first couple of weeks.
Eligible students must be enrolled through The Major Group in a MyCAA-approved program with Tyler Junior College.
- Applicants must complete the course and show proof of newly secured employment and enrollment in a childcare facility.
- Grant funds will not apply to previous employment and the grant value will not exceed $200 per student.
- The grant benefit will only be awarded once per student and the student must apply for the funds no later than 1 year from the date of the final exam.
- Students must notify The Major Group, Inc. of new employment to apply for childcare grant funds.
The Major Group provides you with no expense accredited training, a flexible schedule, work experience, and now an opportunity to assist with childcare costs.
You’ll also get top-notch guidance along the way from our Career Counselors. If you’ve been considering using your MyCAA grant to go back to school, there is no better time then now. Give us a call at 800-298-5226 or contact us to get started. We’re ready to answer your questions and get you enrolled today!
The Major Group, Inc. reserves the right to discontinue the childcare grant at any time. This promotion is not funded by MyCAA grant monies and is not an entitlement for students enrolled through additional partner schools.
