The Major Group is very excited to announce our new education provider, Texas A&M International University!

The Major Group has always offered our students the opportunity to get career training from accredited institutions. Now, our students have the option to enroll in courses provided by TAMIU.

 

Texas A&M International University along with our other education providers offer courses that are designed with military spouses in mind.

Our programs are 100% online and at your own pace so no matter what family’s schedule is like, you can get certified. In as little as 3-6 months our students are prepared to take a national certification exam. We have over 80 programs for military spouses to choose from, all in highly demanded and portable career fields.

 

Are you interested in the health field?

TAMIU offers military spouses a Holistic Healing Professional and Massage Therapy & Holistic Healing course. We’ve introduced new courses including Kinesiology & Human Motional Specialist, Sports Massage & Athletic Training Professional and more. Students can even learn about the principles of common massage therapy, techniques, and an overview of the industry by enrolling in the Spa Professional program.

If you’re eligible for MyCAA, all our programs are no cost to you!

MyCAA is a $4,000 grant for spouses of active duty service members (or reservists on Title 10 orders) ranked E-1 to E-5, W-1 to W-2, and O-1 to O-2 in the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force. The grant may be used towards an approved certificate, license, or associate’s program.

When you enroll through The Major Group, you’ll have no out-of-pocket expenses. The cost of the online class, books loaned to you, and national certification exam are all included. You may even have the opportunity to gain real work experience with one of our clinical externships!
